Alexis Larson has been selected as the Crisis Center’s new executive director.

Larson fills the vacancy created by Lex Ann Roach’s departure in October. Before her promotion, Larson was the agency’s assistant executive director.

“With change comes opportunity,” said Lisa D. Soto, Crisis Center board president. “We are confident that Alexis will help lead the agency in continuing to provide quality supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.”

Larson has been with the agency for approximately 12 years and has an understanding of fundraising, the community and the array of services the Crisis Center offers survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

“I am thankful and excited for this opportunity to take on the leadership role at the Crisis Center,” she said.

“I believe so strongly in the mission of this agency that, with safety, support, education and empowerment, our community can truly work toward breaking the cycle of all lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. My hope is to build more relationships and community partnerships to continue empowering the members of the counties we serve.”
